In the winter of 2005, NAICA launched its first edition. We haven't had quite the success of YouTube or Facebook, but we'd like to think we are just as culturally relevant with slightly less money and slightly more integrity.

It has always been our mission to present contemporary indigenous artists in innovative ways that challenge social and cultural norms. As we move towards becoming an 'official' non-profit organization (which will hopefully aid us in being ever-more innovative), we'd like to thank the many artists, authors, filmmakers, friends and all around terrific people who have participated in helping NAICA become what it is today.  So take that, Facebook.
