Project One Generation is a multi-faceted Aboriginal youth training initiative rooted on the principle that ‘it only takes one generation to break a cycle.’ The cycle can be anything from addiction and abuse to pollution and racism. The programs created under Project One Generation encourage the viewer to ‘be the one’ generation to break a cycle that adversely affects families, communities and the planet.
The Project One CD::
To develop future Project One Generation workshops, Big Soul Productions has funded a compilation CD with songs generously donated by Aboriginal artists from across Canada and the United States. All proceeds from the sales of this CD will support the ongoing development, enhancement and delivery of Project One Generation media empowerment programs for youth across Canada. The CD contains tracks not available anywhere else, including new releases by George Leach, Derek Miller, Leela Gilday and Ostwelve.
NAICA is pleased to be able to present the CD in its entirety for your listening pleasure. If you like what you hear, copies are available for purchase on Big Soul’s website at www.bigsoul.net/store.htm. Buy a copy and support the program!
