As a former national correspondent for the New York Times, Charlie LeDuff covered the war in Iraq, crossed the desert with Mexican migrants and wrote about work and race in a North Carolina slaughterhouse for which he was the co-recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 2001.
Most recently, he co-produced “American Album” for The Times, a multi-media journey across the country chronicling the lives of ordinary Americans. LeDuff hosted "Only in America" a 10-part television show of participatory journalism for Discovery Times as well as “United Gates of America” for the BBC, a look inside a gated city in the California desert. He is the author of Work and Other Sins: Life in New York City and Thereabouts and the recently released US Guys: The True and Twisted Mind of the American Man.
